About Me
Yoga has completely transformed my body, my mind, and my life. Yoga found me more than 7 years ago during my first year of law school, when I needed to find calm amidst the chaos. My journey began with an 8-week introductory Hatha course focusing on alignment and has led me through the doors of many studios to explore some of the many styles of yoga out there today. Yoga is still my calm amidst the chaos, although there is so much less chaos in my life now! Yoga is so much more than an intense workout for my body (although it certainly is that too!), it has challenged and opened my mind, heart, and soul and has taught me that I can rely on my self and my breath to carry me through anything! This practice has helped me become the best person I can be and has furthered my faith in the power of positive thinking. I am honored and humbled to be able to share my experience and knowledge with others and help guide them through their own practices, both on and off the mat. I believe in finding the balance between challenging your mind and body, playing with your edge, and finding space and serenity on your mat. I am deeply inspired by my wonderful teachers and am passionate about supporting others as they find their own inspiration along the way. In my class, expect to be physically challenged and encouraged to find some lightness and playfulness in your practice! Namaste!!
